CLINIC UPDATES ON OPENING AND PROTOCOLS

HANDY TIPS FOR PAIN MGMT AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE!

As of MARCH 27th, 2020 The Alberta Government has issued the immediate closure of all non-emergency Massage Therapy (this includes a closure for non emergency physiotherapy and chiropractic care).  I will be regularly updating this page and ask you to keep checking back, as this situation changes on a daily basis. You will be contacted regarding a rescheduling of any appointments that may be affected. Please refer to the link below for more information.

WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN FOR SUPERIOR MASSAGE?

All Massage Therapy has been slated to re-open in Stage 2.  There is currently no date for this stage. If you have questions or concerns, I would recommend contacting your local MLA.

When we reopen, the cleaning protocols will remain in place as they were prior to closure.

All clients will have to wash their hands immediately upon entry to the clinic and after treatment. Clorox wipes will be used on all touch surfaces and between each client on the entire face cradle (including the wood and metal), the handpiece of the shockwave machine and all attachments, the cord of the machine and the holster for the handpiece. As well, the debit machine pad will be cleaned between each client. If the Stimpod is used, it will also be disinfected. Cups are always washed between clients.

I will be asking all clients to PLEASE reschedule their appointment IF they have a sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath or cough, as Dr. Hinshaw has indicated we are learning through our own experience that these may all be symptoms. No cancellation fee will apply.

If you are in a higher risk demographic, please exercise wisdom at this time. Your health is far more important than a treatment right now.

Sincerely,

Tammy-Lee
