Cupping therapy has been around for thousands of years. It is one of the oldest and most extensively practiced therapeutic treatments. Dynamic cupping is usually performed using silicone cups ( as opposed to glass as with fire cupping ) and the cup is moved around in a gliding motion, or placed stationary over areas that need more release.

Reduced circulation and muscle aches can sometimes result in a throbbing sensation or a "stuck" feeling. Lift from the pressurized cup and the space created by the suction increases blood flow and separates the tissue layers to promote healing of the tissue.

Most clients report a "relief" of pressure sensation and find cupping pleasant, as opposed to painful.

Visible marks can result from cupping from 3 to up to 7-8 days following treatment.
